Although we often have all rooms booked for one event such as a nearby wedding we cannot offer exclusivity as our pool is shared with our gite guests.

Do you accept pets?

We do not accept any pets or other animals.

Do you have air conditioning?

No, but this stone house does stay cool during summer.  With the shutters closed against the heat of the sun the rooms maintain their coolness.  All rooms are equipped with fans.   In the cooler months the rooms and the bathrooms are heated with radiators.

We will happily arrange to have this done for you for just 10 €. The items are returned folded but un-pressed although an iron & ironing board can be provided.

The salt water swimming pool is open between May until the middle of October and is heated by a heat exchange system and also by the sun!  During this period, the temperatures range between 20 and 27 degrees.

Yes, we offer a four-course table d’hôtes on demand.  An aperitif is offered to our dining guests at 7.45 for dinner at 8pm.  We do require at least 24 hours if you wish to reserve dinner.

What is a table d’hôtes menu?

Table d’hôtes is a fixed menu without choice.  Our menu consists of four courses: entree, main, cheese selection & dessert – sample menus are found on our web site. The price of the menu is 25.00 € per person (12€ for those under 10 years old) with  wines and other beverages charged separately.  Food allergies can be catered for. It helps us if you could let us know of any food restrictions when you reserve dinner.  Due to the nature of serving a single table d’hôte menu, we are sorry that we are unable to cater for guests with a vegan diet.

What about eating locally?

There are two local restaurants within walking distance and another restaurant at Lac de Montbel (2 kms).  There are also many other restaurants within 20 kms, most notably at Mirepoix (14 kms)

Can we consume our own food & drink?

L'Impasse du Temple is a full-service B&B with an extensive reasonably-priced drinks & wine list, available throughout the day,  as well as a fully stocked Honesty Bar.  We would prefer that guests refrain from eating cooked/hot food in the bedrooms.

However, we are happy to provide cutlery and plates etc should you wish to have a lunchtime picnic in the garden.

Do you offer smoking rooms?

It is illegal to smoke within public establishments in France and L'Impasse du Temple supports this law by forbidding smoking in any of the guest rooms and other internal rooms.  Guests who wish to smoke are requested to do so outside.
